Hello lovely ladies! I’ve heard loud and clear from many women who run a business that their greatest struggle is juggling all the roles they have to play in life; mom, wife, cook, maid, entrepreneur…
This is especially true for moms who work from home!
90% of the time our minds are in 5 different places at once
We’re making lunch when we suddenly remember we forgot to e-mail our client. Or we’re in the middle of reading a book to our mini-me’s when we remember that order we needed to place like 2 days ago.
I’ve been there too!
We’ve all been there, if we’re honest. There have been times in my photography business where I wasn’t giving anyone the undivided attention they deserved. My clients were getting upset with me, my kids were getting upset with me, and my hubby was getting upset with me. Thoughts of giving up my business, which I loved dearly (and needed the income from!), were entering my mind. Have you gone through this? Are you going through it now?
There is hope!
I can’t say there is an overnight fix for whatever “mess” you’re in, but I do know this. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. You can’t look at the whole picture and try to figure out a solution for everything. It will never happen that way. Rather, you’ll need to fix one small thing, and go from there. You know what I started with? Meal planning. So simple, yet it has made a world of difference in my life. And when I get lazy and don’t plan my meals? You guessed it, I’m on a one-way flight to overwhelm city. My parting words of encouragement to you;
Find one small, simple thing you can fix.
Make a plan of action to fix that one thing, then go at it! Become the Master of Meal Planning, the Goddess of Groceries. Once you master that, it’s on to the next thing. Before you know it, you’ll gain control of your life and create more success than you ever thought possible. Be sure to let me know in the comments below what one thing you can work on to bring a little bit of sanity to your life
